Louisville goes big for pumpkins in October, with Jack’s Lantern Trail and the Jack O’Lantern Spectacular at Kentucky Kingdom both running to November 1. In Brandenburg, Field of Screams and Nightmare Forest stay open through Halloween.

On November 7, Louisville hosts the Kentucky Veterans Parade, and Bowling Green holds one the same day. After Thanksgiving, the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, in the heart of horse country, fills its grounds with the Southern Lights Holiday Festival. Light Up Louisville is December 5.
