About this event
The Lexington Farmers' Market launched its Sunday market on Southland Drive in 2005, and it was an instant hit; the cooperative says it is now nearly as large as the flagship Saturday market downtown. Vendors are member farmers of the co-op, which was established in 1975. Some come year-round with value-added products, while others turn up for their peak seasons.
Our take: Sunday at Southland is the easier-going alternative to the downtown Saturday crowd.
