Country Pumpkins Fall Festival

Country Pumpkins in Dry Ridge, south of Cincinnati and Florence, is a pumpkin patch, fall festival, and corn maze. The maze covers 4 acres. A Fun Pass covers the hayride, Pumpkin Ridge activities, a barrel train ride, the turbo slide, the maze, and shots at a paintball gallery aimed at a groundhog invasion. Pumpkin Ridge adds a petting zoo, giant slides, a corn box, hillbilly hoops, a fairy tale trail, and a mini maze. U-pick hayrides, sold at the ticket counter, include a pumpkin from the field and take about 35 minutes. Country Eats and Sweets sells hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, kettle corn, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and hot mini donuts on weekends.

Our take: If you want a pumpkin from the field, buy the timed u-pick hayride and be at the wagon five minutes early.
