About this event
HalLOUween Parade & Fest fills East Jefferson Street in Louisville's NuLu district with a free street festival built around the city's nationally recognized Halloween parade. More than 60 local artists and vendors set up alongside live music, street performers, costume contests, seasonal food and drinks, bourbon barrel racing, Halloween movies and family activities. Optional ticketed extras include a 21-and-older Cider Festival and a family-friendly Urban Farm, and the event runs rain or shine.
Our take: Stay for the parade, which steps off at 7 p.m., when floats and costumed characters roll through NuLu and more than 50,000 pieces of candy are handed out along the route.
Good to know
