About this event
Field of Screams is an outdoor haunt on a working farm at 132 Darnall Ave in Brandenburg, about 45 minutes southwest of Louisville and one mile past the Otter Creek Park entrance. The night stacks four attractions on one farm, including a two-story barn, forbidden woods, a six-acre corn maze, and the Hayride 2 Hell. Set the route before the signal thins, and do not turn into the park.
Our take: Pick a Friday over a Saturday if you would rather be in the attractions than in a line, since Saturdays run heavier and the two weekends before Halloween are the busiest.
Parking
Cash only, with ATMs on site; tickets sold at the concession stand. One mile past the Otter Creek Park entrance — do not turn into the park.
Good to know
Fridays and Saturdays only; gates open at dusk and the attraction runs until 1 a.m. Dress for a field, not the afternoon forecast.
