About this event
Hartford OctoberFest fills downtown Hartford, the Ohio County seat, with two days of fall family fun. Vendors and food trucks line the streets alongside "extreme" rides, mini-golf, pony rides and a petting zoo, and each day has its own extras, including a magic show with Reed Masterson and a movie at the Ohio County Library, hayrides and games at Hartford Baptist Church, laser tag and Nerf wars. Saturday starts with the Sorehead 5K, named for the town's tongue-in-cheek motto about "2,000 happy people and a few soreheads."
Parking
Downtown Hartford.
Good to know
Friday 3–8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.–7 p.m., with Sorehead 5K race-day registration 7–8 a.m.
