Bowling Green Veterans Day Parade

Bowling Green's Veterans Parade is a free downtown parade organized by the City of Bowling Green, beginning and ending near Circus Square Park. The route travels up College Street, turns left onto 10th Avenue, then left onto State Street, ending at 6th and State Street. Candy is handed out to spectators by designated walkers rather than thrown, for safety. Fourth, fifth and sixth graders can enter the Veterans Parade Essay Contest, and the three winners ride in the parade and read their essays at the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Warren County Courthouse.
