New Mexico Events 2026
Hot air balloons are a big part of New Mexico’s fall. The Taos Mountain Balloon Rally flies October 24 and 25, the same weekend as the New Mexico Pumpkin Festival in Las Cruces. Roswell holds a jazz festival the week before.
Albuquerque hosts a Veterans Day Parade and the Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Holiday Festival after Thanksgiving. Santa Fe has an art festival made from recycled materials in early November. In Carlsbad, Christmas on the Pecos takes boats along the river past lit-up homes.
