About this event
ABQ RIDE's Luminaria Tour is a Christmas Eve tradition in Albuquerque: city buses leave the Albuquerque Convention Center for a ride of about 45 minutes through Old Town and the Country Club area to see the luminarias, without the worry of parking, driving through snow or traffic delays. Buses pick up on 2nd Street on the east side of the Convention Center and drop off on 3rd Street, and they don't stop along the route to let riders off. Tickets typically sell out within a few hours of going on sale, and the tour runs rain or shine.
Our take: Arrive at least 20 minutes before your departure, because most roads near the Convention Center close during the tour.
