About this event
The Eastern New Mexico State Fair in Roswell, at 2055 SE Main Street, runs Monday, October 5, through Saturday, October 10, and combines a carnival, a parade, entertainment and a week of junior livestock shows. Concerts are free with paid fair admission.
Our take: On Thursday, bring two cans of food to get a carnival wristband for $25.

Good to know
Gates noon–11 p.m. Monday and Saturday, 4–11 p.m. Tuesday–Friday. Teens and adults $12, children 3–12 and seniors 55+ $8, ages 2 and under free. Carnival wristbands don't include fair admission.
