Montana Events 2026
Montana’s towns are far apart, so each one keeps its own traditions. Billings hosts the Holiday Food & Gift Festival in mid-November and a holiday parade the day after Thanksgiving. Great Falls has a Veterans Day ceremony and the Holiday Happenings craft show, and Helena holds the Intermountain Festival of Trees in early December.
On Thanksgiving, runners line up for turkey trots in Missoula, Bozeman, Whitefish and Helena. Before that, the Bozeman Maze and Applestem in Craig stay open until November 1.
