About this event
The Crossroads Fitness Turkey Trot is an untimed Thanksgiving fun run from Crossroads Sports & Fitness on Dearborn Avenue in Helena, put on by the Helena Vigilante Runners. Runners pick a 1K small loop, a 5K big loop or a 10K double loop, all very flat and fast, though some years traction is advisable. Bagels and fruit follow the race, and entry stays low-cost, with proceeds going to the Helena Vigilante Runners and its Helena Novas youth teams.
Our take: Stick around after you finish: the random drawing for turkeys and pies is at 11 a.m., and you must be present to win.
