About this event

Edgewater Farms in Townsend runs a seasonal corn maze and pumpkin patch about six miles south of town on Highway 287, on the west side of the road past active railroad tracks. The maze covers 12 acres and adds a Farm Scene Investigation game with clues to solve. A tractor hayride follows the Missouri River out to the patch, where pumpkins are hauled back to the front store. Other stops include a 34-by-67-foot Jumbo Jumper, a corn box with buckets and shovels, apple blasters and a paintball range. A food-truck rotation and a sweet shop cover meals.

Our take: Do not stop on the railroad tracks on the way in, then take the Missouri River hayride so the farm hauls your pumpkin back.

Parking

8410 Hwy 287, Townsend, MT 59644, about six miles south on the west side. Do not stop on the railroad tracks. Pets are not allowed on the grounds or in the maze. Cash and credit cards accepted.
