Holidays on Higgins

Holidays on Higgins is billed as Downtown Missoula's premier holiday celebration, held on the first Saturday in December and formerly known as the Parade of Lights. The Downtown Missoula Partnership and the Missoula Downtown Association host a full day of festivities, with activities from local businesses, a meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Missoula Public Library, and horse-drawn carriage rides. Evening brings a stationary float parade on North Higgins Avenue, a tree lighting with Santa in front of the North Higgins Train Station, the Missoula Makers Collective Market with 40-plus local makers, cozy bonfires, and caroling. Hot cocoa goes with browsing that market, across four blocks of holiday fun.
