Terror in the Cellhouse: Unhinged

Terror in the Cellhouse is a haunted maze inside the Old Montana Prison in Deer Lodge, run by the Powell County Museum and Arts Foundation, the nonprofit that operates the prison as a museum. The complex holds five museums on three blocks outside the old walls, and this event sends visitors through the cellhouse with volunteer scare actors. Actors cannot touch guests, and guests are not to touch the actors. The cellhouse is not heated. Organizers ask for warm clothes and lace-up shoes, not sandals.

Our take: Dress warm and wear lace-up shoes, because the cellhouse is not heated and costumes are not allowed.
