New Orleans Events 2026–27

Fall in New Orleans is crowded with neighborhood parties. Mid-October brings NOLA Funk Fest, the Tremé Fall Festival and Boo at the Zoo at Audubon Zoo, and the Krewe of BOO! rolls on October 24. November turns to food, with Beignet Fest and the Oak Street Po’ Boy Festival on back-to-back days.

From late November, Celebration in the Oaks lights up City Park into the new year. Then Carnival takes over: Chewbacchus, Freret, Muses, Tucks and Bacchus parade in January and February. On parade days, streets close early, so plan to walk or take the streetcar.

Dates can change, so check the event’s website before you go.
