About this event
The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival celebrates the city's most beloved iconic sandwich, with food as the center of the day. Music and football game-watch areas sit alongside the eating, so the festival mixes a meal with a place to dance and a place to follow a game. A contest and a festival map help visitors sort what to eat and where to go. Come hungry, pick a game-watch spot if a kickoff matters to you, and leave time to hear the music.
Our take: Eat first, then pick a game-watch area if you want football with the po-boys, and leave time for the music.
Good to know
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
