October is peak fair and festival season in Georgia. This guide covers 31 festivals, county and state fairs, Oktoberfests, food weekends and other public events listed on USA Fest Bot for October 2026, grouped by weekend. You’ll find big fairs in Hampton, Perry and Marietta, apple and mountain weekends in North Georgia, coastal shrimp and grits on Jekyll Island, and city festivals around Atlanta. Each one links to its listing page and to the event’s own website.

Pick a weekend, then open the listing and the official site before you go. USA Fest Bot doesn’t sell tickets, and this guide leaves out hours and prices because organizers change them.

Running across several weekends

These listings cover three or more October weekends. The dates show the full span, so check the organizer’s page for which days they are open.

Before you go: a short checklist

  • Open the official site the week you go. Each listing page links to the event’s website. Organizers post hours and updates there, and plans can change.
  • Check which days are event days. Some listings here cover a long span, such as Helen Oktoberfest (September 10 - November 1), Coweta County Fair (September 24 - October 4) and North Georgia State Fair (September 24 - October 4). Our listings show the full span, so check the organizer’s page for the exact days.
  • Add it to your calendar. Every USA Fest Bot listing page has an “Add to calendar (.ics)” link, and most have a map link.
