About this event
The Georgia State Fair, produced by Universal Fairs at 1500 Tara Pl. in Hampton, pairs a carnival midway with daily shows such as the Rastelli Circus, the Banana Derby and Lady Houdini. All-day attractions include Goat Island, a petting zoo, Tails of the Tropics and helicopter rides. Scheduled attractions are included with admission, while camel and pony rides cost extra, and the midway can stay open past gate hours so everyone who entered gets a chance to ride.
Our take: Every day is wristband day, and Tuesdays and Thursdays are discount wristband days.
Parking
$10. Credit, debit, Apple Pay and cash accepted. RVs can use general parking (no power or water).
Good to know
Ride wristbands $25 weekdays, $30 weekends. No coolers or outside food and drinks (baby food and formula allowed); chairs are allowed. Service dogs only.
