About this event
Madison's downtown chili cook-off in Town Park is also the CASI Georgia State Championship open cook-off. Teams compete in two categories, and the public samples chili then votes for People's Choice. The Great Lawn holds a handmade and homegrown market, and the Toe-tappin' music stage is on Second Street. Amici pours beer on the Gazebo Terrace. Winners are announced from the Pavilion stage. The day is rain or shine.
Our take: Be in Town Park for the 12:30 sampling start, because chili service stops when the pots run out.

Event 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine. Sampling 12:30 to 2:30 or until chili runs out. Awards about 3:30.
