Boston Events 2026–27

Boston’s fall calendar has books and neighborhood fun. The Boston Book Festival is October 17, the same day as the North End Fall Festival in Columbus Park. The Boston Veterans Parade follows on November 7, and the Franklin Park Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving morning.

Then the tree lightings start: Copley Square on November 30 and Boston Common on December 3. The SoWa Christmas Market runs on weekends into late December. Holiday shows fill the stages, including Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker, the Holiday Pops and Black Nativity.

Dates can change, so check the event’s website before you go.
