About this event
The City of Boston, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park light up the park's signature trellis on the North End waterfront, stringing lights along all 260 feet of it near the Marriott Long Wharf and throughout the park. The short evening celebration brings musical performances and a visit from Santa Claus and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, plus eggnog from H.P. Hood and hot chocolate and cookies from the Boston Marriott Long Wharf.
Our take: Warm up with a cup of clam chowder from Joe's Waterfront, a fitting treat for a harborside lighting.
