About this event
Boston Children's Chorus marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Symphony Hall with Beyond the Mountaintop, a tribute concert examining the life and legacy of Coretta Scott King, who emerged after Dr. King's death as a strong voice of conscience for the civil rights movement. All of the chorus's choirs take part, commemorating her 100th year and her legacy of love, compassion and justice. The chorus is known for pairing social justice education with music education, bringing together singers of different races, religions and backgrounds.
