About this event

The Cultural Survival Bazaar at the Cyclorama is a Winter Solstice Indigenous art holiday market at the Boston Center for the Arts, where shoppers meet and learn from makers of time-honored, culturally relevant art from around the world. Visitors can make an Indigenous craft, listen to music, join a dance, watch live art demonstrations and trade books at an Indigenous book swap. It's run by Cultural Survival, a nonprofit that has advocated for Indigenous Peoples' rights and self-determination since 1972, and its bazaars let Indigenous artists, cooperatives and their representatives sell traditional and contemporary work directly to the public.

Our take: Bring a reusable tote and a gently used Indigenous book to trade at the book swap.

Parking

Nearby garages: Atelier 505, the garage at 100 Clarendon Street, and the corner of Shawmut and East Berkeley Streets.

Good to know

10am–6pm; $10 suggested admission, under 18 free; a day-one ticket admits you and a friend free on day two.
