Austin Events 2026–27

Austin’s list is short but varied. House of Torment runs through early November, and the Viva la Vida Festival and parade celebrate Día de los Muertos on October 24. The Texas Book Festival is November 14 and 15.

The holiday season mixes old favorites. The Zilker Holiday Tree is lit on November 29, the Trail of Lights runs December 10 to 23, and the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar sells local art and crafts for most of December. Mozart’s Festival of Lights runs through the season too.
