Pittsburgh Events 2026–27

Pittsburgh’s October is all about pumpkins. The Monster Pumpkins weekend comes to the Strip District on October 17 and 18. ZooBoo runs at the Pittsburgh Zoo, and East Liberty’s Pumpkin Palooza is on Halloween.

After Thanksgiving, the zoo turns into a drive-thru light show. Early December brings the Handmade Arcade Holiday Market, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker and the Nationality Rooms Holiday Open House at the University of Pittsburgh. The symphony’s Highmark Holiday Pops plays in mid-December.

Dates can change, so check the event’s website before you go.
