About this event
Zoo Lights Drive-Thru, presented by UPMC Health Plan, turns the Pittsburgh Zoo into a starry safari seen from the warmth of your car. Thousands of eco-friendly lights form twinkling illuminated animals, yuletide scenes and familiar Pittsburgh icons, plus an area celebrating the zoo's recent babies. Back by popular demand, the drive lets families take in the zoo after dark without leaving their seats, with vehicles entering on timed tickets to keep traffic flowing.
Our take: Stop at the hospitality station in the entrance plaza for seasonal food and drink and a restroom break before you roll on.
Good to know
5–10pm on select nights; timed vehicle tickets
