27 Ohio listings have dates that overlap Friday through Sunday, October 30–November 1, 2026. 2 are fairs, festivals, and one-day events, and the other 25 are longer seasons that are open during part of the weekend.

Ohio spends its fall weekends on the farm. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes and orchard festivals open in September and run to about Halloween, from Ramseyer Farms in Wooster and Mapleside Farms Pumpkin Village in Brunswick to Tom’s Maze in Germantown and Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs. Most of these listings cover the whole season, so the open days matter more than the dates.

Small towns hold the big one-weekend festivals. The Circleville Pumpkin Show, the Fall Festival of Leaves in Bainbridge, the Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival in Coshocton and the Weber Pumpkin Festival in Harrison all landed in October, and Celina added the Spirit of the Forest Bigfoot Festival. The Fairfield County Fair in Lancaster ran into mid-October, and the Sandusky Witches Walk and Columbus’s Day of the Dead Festival each filled a Saturday of their own.

After dark, the haunt season is just as busy. HalloWeekends at Cedar Point, Kings Island Halloween Haunt, The Dent Schoolhouse in Cincinnati and Factory of Terror in Canton run for weeks, and the Ohio Renaissance Festival in Waynesville is open on weekends into November. Once Halloween passes, Veterans Day parades and holiday lights take over, with Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo, the PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo and Kings Island WinterFest.
