The Dent Schoolhouse

The Dent Schoolhouse in Cincinnati is a haunted house built on the story of a murderous janitor and a killer faculty. Named zones include Fall Festival, first-floor classrooms, Charlie's Basement, the Catacombs, Zobo's Backlot, CarnEvil, Dr. Dent's Laboratory, and a greenhouse with werewolves and spiders. Each haunt ticket also includes the Monster Midway. Side visits include Lights Out with only a glow stick, Lights On with candy stations and no monsters, actor-free ghost tours, behind-the-scenes tours, and A Christmas Nightmare. The address is 5963 Harrison Avenue.

Our take: Pick Lights On if you want the sets and candy stations without actors, and Lights Out only if a glow stick in the dark is the point.
