About this event

The weekend farmers market at Findlay Market spills outdoors beside Ohio's oldest surviving municipal market house, in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine. Findlay Market has operated continuously in the same iron-framed building since 1855 and is the only survivor of the nine public markets that once served the city. Regional growers such as Luna Farm, Wolfson Farm, Kist Gardens and One-derings Lavender Farm bring produce, flowers and specialty goods outside, while the merchants inside cover meat, cheese, seafood, baked goods and carry-out.

Our take: Shop the farm stands outside first, then head into the market house for lunch from one of the carry-out counters.

Parking

Findlay Market's North and South surface lots charge $3 an hour (Cincy EZPark app, zone 4523).

Good to know

Outdoor farmers market Saturdays 8 a.m.–2 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.–2 p.m.; the market house is open Tuesday–Sunday.
