Charlotte Events 2026–27

Charlotte’s fall mixes thrills and small events. SCarowinds runs through November 1, NoDa holds a costume 5K and a candy crawl in late October, and the Festival Día de Muertos is November 1. The Southern Christmas Show takes over mid-November.

The Thanksgiving Eve Parade goes Uptown on November 25, and a turkey trot runs the next morning. WinterFest at Carowinds and the Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular run through the holidays. In December, there’s the Uptown Holiday Market and Charlotte Ballet’s Nutcracker.

Dates can change, so check the event’s website before you go.
