About this event
WinterFest transforms Carowinds in Charlotte into a holiday version of the theme park, billed as the premier holiday festival in the Carolinas. Up to 29 rides and attractions stay open, including Snoopy's Racing Railway, alongside live shows and Christmas concerts led by Tinker's Toy Factory, a holiday musical with Santa, Tinker and the elves. Kids can make crafts, decorate cookies and visit Santa, and the evening ends with a stroll down the lit midway. A seasonal menu of comfort food and sweets keeps the cold at bay.
Our take: Start with hot chocolate in the collectible souvenir mug and carry it with you down the lit midway.
