Seattle Events 2026–27

Seattle Center is the hub of the city’s fall and holiday calendar. Its Festál series brings the Día de Muertos Festival to the Armory Food & Event Hall on October 31 and November 1, with altars, face painting and sugar skull workshops. Diwali: Lights of India follows on November 7 with music, dance and a cooking demonstration, and Seattle Hmong New Year on November 14 marks the end of the harvest season with traditional clothing, dance and food.

Mid-November brings the Seattle International Auto Show to the Lumen Field Event Center, and WildLanterns opens at Woodland Park Zoo, a lantern walk across seven continents and under the ocean with glowing penguins, orcas and snow leopards. From November 20, the Seattle Christmas Market fills Seattle Center with European and local vendors, a carousel and daily snow showers.

Thanksgiving weekend starts the busiest stretch. Seattle Center Winterfest runs for five weeks, with the Winter Train & Village model display that has been a holiday tradition for 50 years and ice carving on Saturdays, and it ends with a New Year’s Eve celebration beneath the Space Needle. The Argosy Christmas Ship Festival sails with a live choir on board and stops at shoreline spots where people can listen from land. The Seattle Marathon starts at Seattle Center on November 29 and finishes at Pier 66, and the Urban Craft Uprising Winter Show brings more than 150 makers to the Exhibition Hall in early December.

Some Christmas Market workshops need an extra ticket, so look at the market’s calendar before you go.

Dates can change, so check the event’s website before you go.
