About this event
Appalachian Market Events fills the Appalachian Fairgrounds outside Johnson City with its Tri-Cities Christmas Market, a one-day gathering of local artisans, makers, food vendors and small businesses from around the mountains. The organizer started with a single market in 2018 and has grown it into a seasonal series, and the Christmas edition books its vendor spaces solid well ahead of time.
Our take: Bring a shopping list for the people who are hard to buy for, since the booths lean toward handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts.
