About this event

The Johnson City Farmers Market dates to 1976, when it began as a cooperative effort among markets in Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol. It first set up at St. John's Episcopal Church on North Roan Street, moved to a city-owned lot at South Roan and State of Franklin in 2000, and since 2016 has been at The Pavilion at Founders Park on West Main Street. Shoppers find fresh produce, baked and canned goods, arts and crafts, and plenty of community fellowship.

Our take: Saturday morning at the Founders Park pavilion is the time to go, before the best produce sells through.
