About this event
The Horton Hotel on West King Street in downtown Boone hosts a New Year's Eve ball drop from its rooftop. A limited number of rooftop tickets include a glass of champagne for the toast, light hors d'oeuvres and desserts from The Table at Crestwood, and access to the rooftop bar, while the downstairs lounge bar stays open to the public until midnight. Others watch the glittering ball descend from the lawn of the Jones House across the street.
Our take: Skip the rooftop tickets and watch free from the Jones House lawn; bring chairs and bundle up.

8pm–12:30am; rooftop is ticket-only after 8pm.
