Boone Festive First Friday & Solar Tree Lighting

The Town of Boone and the Downtown Boone Development Association kick off the holidays with Festive First Friday, a seasonal spin on the downtown art crawl that keeps galleries and shops open on the first Friday of each month. Artists, musicians and youth makers set up booths along the downtown sidewalks, and the evening centers on the lighting of the solar tree at the Jones House on King Street. Families can visit with Santa, write letters to the North Pole, grab cookies and watch the mascot snowball fight.
