About this event
Tweetsie Christmas turns Tweetsie Railroad's Wild West town near Blowing Rock into an evening holiday adventure in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The centerpiece is an open-air ride behind a historic steam locomotive, rolling past thousands of Christmas lights while passengers sing along to carols. Back in town, kids walk through Santa's Gingerbread House to meet Santa, families catch a 20-minute musical Christmas show, and classic rides like Jingle Bell Rockets and the Little Drummer Boy teacups keep running after dark.
Our take: Roast s'mores by the fire or grab fudge at the Fudge Shop between the train ride and the stage show.
