About this event
Since 2010, the Blue Plum Organization has managed the Johnson City Christmas Parade, after taking it over from the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce. The all-volunteer parade runs through downtown Johnson City and brings families, businesses, organizations, performers, and Santa Claus together to open the holiday season. Santa is at the end of the route, which starts at ETSU Lot 9 and finishes in the Old Burley Lot.
Our take: Parade entries should stage at ETSU Lot 9 by 8:30 am; spectators picking people up should use the City Hall lot off East Main and meet them in the Old Burley Lot.

Parade at 10:30 a.m. Staging at ETSU Lot 9 from 8:30 a.m. Drop-off via West Maple St, a one-way street.
