About this event
Jonesborough Farmers Market is a producer-only market: what is for sale has been grown, made, or raised by the farmer or artisan, and reselling is not allowed. Stalls line S. Cherokee Street and the area behind the Courthouse, with 100 East Main Street the best navigation address. Shoppers can meet growers and find sourdough from Appalachian Sourdough and Carson Creek Farms, mushrooms from Doe River Fungi, goat cheese from Ziegenwald Dairy, honey from Rosey Apiaries, and brewed coffee from Over-Mountain Coffee Roasters. Almost every Saturday brings live music.
Our take: Come early for the live music most Saturdays, and look for Doe River Fungi mushrooms and Ziegenwald Dairy goat cheese.
Parking
Parallel parking on S. Cherokee Street; spaces along East Courthouse Square by Texas Burritos & More; lot behind the Courthouse Square; lot across from Tennessee Hills Distillery past the railroad tracks (staircase to the lower lot). Dogs allowed on a short leash; remove a rowdy dog and clean up messes.
Good to know
No market on July 4th or October 3rd; also closed during Jonesborough Days and the Storytelling Festival.
