About this event

Founded in 1993, the University District Farmers Market is Seattle's largest and oldest farm-and-food-only market, set up on Saturdays along University Way NE, "the Ave," between 50th and 52nd streets. A core group of "lifers," farmers and food artisans who have been there since the beginning or nearly that long, gives it a hometown feel despite more than 80 booths at peak season, and professional and amateur chefs come to source ingredients hard to find even at other markets. The U District light rail station is two blocks away.

Parking

Suggested $3 donation for the U Heights parking lots, paid at the Market Manager booth.
