About this event
Redmond Lights kicks off the holiday season at Downtown Park with large-scale illuminated art installations, magical snowfall effects and musicians, dancers and performers on multiple stages. Families can walk an enchanting luminary trail of lanterns and lights, stroll a promenade lined with glowing displays, make keepsakes at free craft booths and cheer on the Kids Light Fashion Show, where children show off light-inspired costumes on the runway. Nearby Redmond Town Center adds restaurants, shopping and seasonal decor, and the City of Redmond counts the celebration among its most popular events.
Our take: Come for the kickoff evening, when the snowfall, stages and fashion show are all running at once.
