About this event
Puyallup is home to what Oktoberfest Northwest bills as Washington's largest Munich-style celebration. An Austrian host leads the weekend with authentic German food, ice-cold German beer in traditional steins, oompah music and dance, and family fun. After the sun goes down, the Pacific Northwest's top party bands take over the Festhalle. The ceremonial keg tapping, Wiener Dog Races, Stein Dash 5K, and late-night singalongs sit alongside Hammerschlagen on the things-to-do list. The Festhalle is at 110 9th Avenue SW in Puyallup.
Our take: Stay into the evening if the party bands are the draw, because that is when the Festhalle switches from oompah to the Pacific Northwest acts.
