About this event
Since 2009, White Rock Farmers Market has been a weekly producer-only market for the White Rock community in East Dallas, a neighborhood stop for local produce, artisan foods, and crafts. It continues a partnership with White Rock United Methodist Church at 1450 Old Gate Lane. Good Local Markets, which runs it, accepts Lone Star/SNAP benefits and WIC vouchers at all locations, and 67 percent of its vendors depend on the market for income.
Our take: Go for the producer-only stalls at Old Gate Lane, where what you buy comes from the people who grew or made it.
