About this event
The Commemorative Air Force's Aviation Discovery Fest brings more than 20 historic aircraft to Dallas Executive Airport, from World War II bombers and fighters to trainers and transports. Expected aircraft include the B-29 Superfortress FIFI, B-24 Liberator Diamond Lil and P-51 Mustangs, though the list can change with weather and maintenance. Unlike a traditional airshow, the focus is access: guests walk among the aircraft, talk with pilots and restoration volunteers, and watch engine starts and taxi demonstrations, with hands-on STEM activities for kids.
