About this event
The BMW Dallas Marathon weekend is run by the nonprofit Dallas White Rock Marathon, which dates to 1971 and stages Dallas' largest and Texas' longest-running marathon. The weekend opens with the Friday Night Lights Mile, followed by a 10K, 5K and kids races on Saturday, and on Sunday the marathon, half marathon, 50K ultra and 5-person relay start near Dallas City Hall. Tens of thousands of spectators line the streets, and the organization has donated nearly $5 million to Scottish Rite for Children.
