About this event
Thrillvania Haunted House Park in Terrell spreads three haunted houses across 50 acres. The legend starts in 1901, when Baron Michael Verdun, called a psychopathic werewolf, built a house on Voodoo Bayou and, with vampire wife Lady Cassandra, hosted masquerades before a mob burned the manor. Guests still cross the bayou and an old graveyard to reach Haunted Verdun Manor. Cassandra's House of Clowns opens a labyrinth warped by a giant brain from Verdun's experiments, and Sam Hain's Trail of Torment follows a man bitten by Cassandra. The park sits in East Texas, near Dallas.
Our take: Plan on all three houses — Verdun Manor, Cassandra's labyrinth, and Sam Hain's trail — if you want the full 50-acre park rather than a single walk-through.
