About this event

The Dallas Race for the Cure, the first Susan G. Komen Race, fills the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson with a celebration of survivors and of people walking or running against breast cancer. The course is a certified 5K, 3.1 miles, and a one-mile route is also offered. Hope Village and a Pathway of Hope survivor parade recognize people living with metastatic breast cancer, whose shirts are a distinct color. Dogs may join the course and the event area on a leash. Be there for the opening ceremony, then pick the 5K or the mile.

Our take: Arrive for the opening ceremony, then choose the certified 5K or the one-mile route.

Parking

Dogs are allowed on the course and in the event area if leashed at all times.
