About this event
The Invasion Car Show takes over Elm Street in Deep Ellum, from Malcolm X to Good Latimer, for hot rods and kustom cars from 1964 and older. THEM! Texas Car Club, formed in 2003 and named for the atomic-age film about supersized ants, has hosted it since 2007, closing the street so enthusiasts from across the state and region can invade the district. Entry is free, with a vendor area, a pin-up contest, car awards and an after party with live music.
Good to know
Gates 10am; judging 1pm; pin-up contest 3pm; awards 4pm
