A Longwood Christmas at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square builds a cosmic holiday, with soaring rotating trees wrapped in stars, the Music Room recast as a gilded astronomer's observatory, and the Exhibition Hall turned into a spherical galaxy of poinsettias. A tunnel of nearly 20,000 bulbs opens onto evergreens, orchids, and winter blooms in the Orangery, while the Main Fountain Garden and Open Air Theatre fountains play with holiday light and music. Outdoor Christmas musicians play in the gardens, daily organ music fills the Main Conservatory, and the Wildlife Tree stays stocked for the animals. Miniature trains run during regular gardens hours, weather permitting.
